Met with the Board of Directors at Discovery Bay on September 6th. The Board was very agreeable to what we are trying to do. There was some hesitancy around whether or not the board should appeal to LAFCO directly. They didn’t want to agree to it in case an Environmental Report was required. Luckily for single family owners, We should be exempt from an EIR.  Single Family Dwelling is a categorical exemption in California Environmental Quality Act’s regulations Section 15303

The lawyer of the Board of Directors should be researching this and we will be another item for the next board meeting in two weeks September 20th 2017.
